About these terms

These terms are between you and Syncsol Ltd, the company that runs Carrvo (see Who we are in the privacy policy). By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The app helps you keep vehicle details, key dates, costs and documents in one place. It is for personal use.

What is free

Everything except reading documents with AI is free: vehicles, records, key dates, reminders, reports, your passport and exports. We may add or change free features over time.

The paid plan

Reading documents with AI (Read with AI) is part of a paid plan.

The plan costs £2.99 a month or £19.99 a year, shown in your own currency by the store. You can try reading documents with AI free for two weeks, with no card needed. The two weeks start the first time you read a document, and the trial is offered once per account. After that you need the plan.

You buy and pay through the App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.

The plan renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next payment; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting your account does not cancel the plan.

The plan covers up to 60 readings a month and 20 a day. The monthly count starts again at the start of each calendar month.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. If we change the price, the store will tell you before the new price applies and you can cancel instead.

If you stop the plan, you keep everything you saved. Only reading documents with AI stops.

AI readings and your documents

A reading sends one document you choose to an AI service and fills in a record for you to check. It can make mistakes, so always check the details before you save. Nothing is saved until you press Save.

Dates, mileage, MOT, tax and insurance information in the app are a helpful record, not official advice. Check important dates on GOV.UK or with your garage.

Using the app

Please use the app lawfully and do not try to break it, overload it or get around its limits. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. We may suspend an account that is misused.

Our responsibility

We take care to run the app well, but it is provided as it is and may sometimes be unavailable or contain mistakes.

Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer or our responsibility for things we cannot lawfully limit, such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.

Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for a missed MOT, tax or insurance date that you relied on the app for.

Ending and changes

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Profile, then Privacy & data, then Delete my account).

We may update these terms. If a change matters to you we will tell you in the app before it applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you can also rely on the law and courts of where you live.
